Full Tilt’s Ivey Listed 1st in the World among All-time Money Winners in Tournament Poker
Born Phillip D. Ivey, and fondly called Phil is regarded by numerous poker observers and contemporaries as the best all-around player in the world today.
Ivey was born in Riverside, California and presently Phil Ivey resides in Las Vegas. Ivey’s tournament accomplishments consist of winning three bracelets at the 2002 World Series of Poker. He too has bracelets in Pot Limit Omaha from 2000 and 2005. In 2000, he was the original person to beat Amarillo Slim heads-up at a WSOP final table. He had great success in the WSOP Main Event in addition to his seven World Series bracelets. Between the 2002 and the 2009, he placed in the top 25 four times. Ivey finished 7th in 2009, 20th in 2005, 10th in 2003 and 23rd in 2002.
Ivey is greatly involved and part of the design team for Full Tilt Poker. Phil Ivey has now progressed into the number one position on the All-Time Money List after coming in 2nd in the 2010 Aussie Millions AU$100K Challenge.
