Nevada Casino Revenues Drop off 0.66% in March

The Nevada casino gaming “win” or its revenue fall out this March 2010 compared with March 2009, based on the figures established by the Gaming Control Board recently. Nevada casinos drag to $912.2 million in March.

Revenues from the popular Las Vegas Strip usually rise in the month of March every year. The said Strip Shows Poker-friendly casinos such as, Bellagio, Venetian, and Aria, that earned $467.1 million for March having an increase of 2.40% from $456.1 million of the same month last year.

Unluckily, Downtown Las Vegas, which happens to be the home of the yearly WSOP drop down to 10.62% in March every year to $49.4 million, the said revenues for its fiscal year was off by 8.23% annually to $380.4 million.

For the North Las Vegas, the revenues fall to 11.75% in the same month to $28.2 million. Even so, in Laughlin the casino gambling climb up by 2.47% to $52.8 million. Boulder Strip that is also located in Clark Country also drop by4.95% in March to $75.5 million.

Gambling in metropolis of Reno that is found in Washoe Country, hit the peak in March, its revenues pop up by 4.59% to $48.3 million. Reno features gambling selection that includes Harrah’s, Peppermill, Circus Circus, and the Grand Sierra. However, the revenues still cited drop by 10.37% to $424.1 million.

The gainer for the month of March this year is South Lake Tahoe with 7.15% year to $21.1 million. Wendover in Elko County also drop to 3.41%. The Nevada’s Carson Valley also increases by 2.26% to $8.5 million.

Las Vegas is heading for the 2010 WSOP that will be staged on May 28th at the Rio. The said tournament series will cover 57 bracelet events that will happen for six weeks, to be exact the end date would be July 17th. Poker players around the world will gather down at Sin City for the yearly gala that also includes the part of Bellagio Cup and Venetian Deep Stack Extravaganza.
